The birthplace of Nintendo in Kyoto, Japanhas officially reopened as Hotel “Marufukuro” with a restoration of the original building and a new annex. The initial headquarter office of Nintendo, first built in 1930, has been revamped into an 18 room boutique hotel with partial renovations of the original building and a new annex designed by the grandfather of Japanese contemporary archtecture,Tadao Ando.Read more.

SETOUCHI Region

The Setouchi Islands are a collection of thousands of islands of different sizes dotting the Seto Inland Sea.
